Introducing two new features of streber 0.07

Monday, August 21st, 2006
Today I will introduce you two upcoming features of the new release of streber.
Versions in streber

In the upcoming release we can proudly present a Versions feature.
streber - versions

A Version is some kind of milestone and can be used like a milestone.
In your tasks you can use this version for planning in what version the task was resolved in.
So you have an overview like

  • “this bug was reported in version x.xx”
  • “this bug/feature/issue was planned be fixed in version x.xx”
  • “this bug/feature/issue was changed/fixed in version x.xx”
Quick edit form in task view

With the quick edit form in the task view your workflow of editing a task will be much faster than normal editing of your task.
streber - new quick edit form

The quick edit form allows you to change some important preferences of a task on the fly:

  • milestone
  • resolved in version
  • resolve reason
  • assignment
  • prio
  • completion
  • status

In addition to this you have the possibility to post a comment within the quick edit form!

After sending the request to the server the task view looks like this:
